21 days to form a habit
Yes, I take away carbo from my meals. It might sound hard, but its not that bad once you got used to it. The reason why we feel so resistance towards eating so much green is because we are not used to it. If you can managed to change your mindset and perception of this diet, it will work for you.
Mind you, the first 7 days are the toughest. After 7 days, it will get better. And since our mind takes 21 days to form a habit, you should continue with it for another 14 days. After 21 days, it will be a breeze.
High carbo food are good friends holding hands. A high carbo diet will make you hungry faster, and the more carbo you eat, the more you feel like eating high carbo the next meal. If you eat KFC for lunch, you will feel hungry easily, and you will have craving for other high carbo food like fried rice, Cha Kuey Tiao and so on.. I think this is the reason why some of my friends cannot stop their insane craving for food.
So, drop down that KFC drumlet! Drink some milk! Eat some veggie! Or an apple!
